Laura Roldan serves as the GendHR Lab Manager.
She is a Master of Social Work student at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Her research interests center on belonging and its relationship to mental health, immigration, and institutional experiences. Prior to coming to the University of Michigan, she gained research experience at Sonoma State University, where she developed a strong interest in research as a tool for advancing social justice and improving the well-being of underserved communities. She plans to pursue a PhD and a career in research, with the goal of contributing scholarship that informs more equitable and responsive systems and institutions.
